About us

Our Mission

Vancouver Pacific Wave Synchronized Swim Club was established in the 1990s and became a registered non-profit society in 2007. The club trains athletes in Vancouver and surrounding areas in recreational and competitive synchronized swimming. Our team found a home thanks to the support of the City of Richmond and have established a strong base. We have re-named the club to reflect our new home as Pacific Wave Synchronized Swim Club (PWS).

VPW April Regionals 3PWS offers training programs for synchronized swimmers from six (6) years of age to adults, and from beginners just learning synchro to national competitors aiming for FINA Nationals or Olympics.

Following the Canadian Sport for Life Program, we train our athletes through the 7 stages of LTAD (Long Term Athlete Development) from infancy through all phases of adulthood. But we also make sure it is fun, challenging, and interesting so that your children want to keep coming back! They will be given a solid foundation of physical, tactical and mental skills, establish an active lifestyle, excel in team environment, and thrive in life.

We have a strong team of coaches and a dedicated head coach. We are the top team in BC and have placed young athletes on the 13-15, and Junior Worlds National teams.
